Excellent Great staff, lovely comfortable room and bed. Very good food, and the full english is marvellous.Will be back!! .
Just a random stop for a sandwich. What a wonderful interior, welcoming and friendly staff. A great sandwich, local Ale and a beautiful lit open fire. Perfect. Would definitely go out of my way to go back for a main meal.

Brilliant lunch. Portions were great, you don't need to get the larger portion, kids meals have more than enough food too. The meals themselves were excellent and quick. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Apparently, the kitchen closes at 3, and we were a few minutes late. However, they kept it open and gave us a spectacular meal. Would definitely come again!
Called into the Stag to break up a long journey and was very pleased that we did. The place was excellently set out and spotless. The staff were very welcoming, the beer well looked after and to top it all the food was excellent. I would recommend a visit and we will go back.
