Arrived here. And the car park was empty. That should have been our first clue. But we walked in and got told to find a seat from the guy behind the bar. Guessing they are short staffed. Anyway found our table. And found out they stopped doing carvery. Which is why we was here in the first place. But we decided to stay and try there menu. We started of with drinks. They don't have any "healthy" opinions for coke. No sugar free or caffinee free. Our waiter couldnt give us any ideas so full fat coke it is. When the food came out. It looked amazing but all out chips came out over cooked to the point of crunchy. The pizza we had. Had like chicken bones in it. Which stopped all of us eating. Trying to work it out made us feel sick. Didnt ordee pudding as we just wanted to leave asap. So overall a bad experiences. We won't be coming back again. I see why this place is empty. It's 7.30pm and no one has come into the restaurant since we got here at 5.30pm word of advise people. Eat elsewhere!!!!
Too long to be served, popped in for a quick Saturday afternoon lunchtime bite, hardly any customers, took approx 90 mins for food
Party of 12... Some of us had the carvery which was FAULTLESS and DELICIOUS, sadly the other meals were of poor quality and served nearly an hour after we'd eaten our carvery.Needs major reshuffle before we go back.Shame really, could be a great place.
Great staff who work their socks off. Cheerful and helpful under pressure. Good job.
The food is good and the pub is very beautiful. The price is reasonable on the weekends and they have some good offers during the week. Great to have a beer outside when cycling!
