My Corsa had an issue a few days ago where the service sensor was tripped and the car became very juddery and jolty. So i called up David Lees in a bit of a panic because my usual mechanic was on Holiday.They were friendly and efficient on the phone and booked me in the same day. The woman on the front desk was also really nice. However, I was told that when diagnostics were run on my car the computer they had couldn't speak to the engine. So I took my car back to my regular garage and he told me my oil tank sensor hadn't set off and simply my car was out of oil. Surely my oil levels should have been checked at David Lees first. Instead they referred me to go somewhere else which were going to charge me a further 50 for an appointment on top of the 30 David Lees charged me for simply checking my car over. (which obviously wasn't very thorough) I would think as a new customer this would have gone differently as surely they would want to retain someone local to their garage.
Highly recommend this garage. Booking my car in for a service was quick, friendly and efficient. When I arrived I was looked after really well and had a courtesy car for the duration. Picked my newly washed and serviced car up at the agreed time. FAB service! Thank you.
Steer clear of this garage!! We brought our Peugeot in for a service and new front brake pads. They couldnt even replace the wheel nuts correctly, and were left loose. They also overcharge and like to charge for extra jobs that dont need doing. When you question the staff they become very rude and aggressive.Avoid at all costs!
David Lee's Alcester provide an excellent honest service and at a competitive cost, staff are polite and keep you informed at all times.
Can't fault this place at all. I Feel very fortunate to have found them. My My Octavia VRS need some warranty work carried out and the dealer was too far away to make it a worthwhile return trip to get the job done. He phoned me and told me that he had found a garage not that far from me that specialised in VAG motors. That was 2 years ago and I haven't used another garage since. Finding a garage you can rely on and trust is a rarity in my opinion and having that piece of mind that these guys are there is irreplaceable. I've turned up at all times of the day and phoned them about various issues and they've always been polite, helpful and efficient. Whenever I've had worked carried out there has always been a courtesy car and updates of progress. When I've collected the car I've always had a professional debrief on the issue and it's resolution and also any potential issues they've encountered and their advice on them. Not once have I been pushed to have any work carried out only advice and well informed opinions have been offered. The new expansion of the business now means they have some awesome kit in a brand new workshop and a very comfortable place to wait if you're having work carried out there and then.I can honestly say I'll never go anywhere else.
